Last weekend, Zach had to work in San Francisco on Sunday evening and early Monday morning so he got a hotel room in the city for the night. In an attempt to salvage a little of our weekend with dad since he worked on Saturday too - the kids and I decided to go with him for the night and make a mini-vacation out of it! We detoured to Dunes Beach in Half Moon Bay on the way and spent a few hours at the beach before heading to the hotel.
Figuring out the weather out here is interesting - when we left our house it was at least 85 and probably close to 90 - but at the beach it was very cool and windy! The kids had on swim suits and jackets!
