Working with Daddy!

Not long after she was born, Emma got her 1st Centerplate badge - so now she can go anywhere she wants to when we visit Daddy at work. (Usually she opts for the office because it's air conditioned!) Emma's Daycare had a Family night down at Slugger field on Monday. Zach got the families all tickets and we all brought the babies to play! We had a good time and it was really nice to meet and spend some time with the other Mom's and Dad's. It was really hot - but we survived!

Tomorrow is Zach's last game for a week or so. It will be great to have him home for a while. He is even staying home with Emma next Monday and Tuesday because daycare is on vacation!

5 Months!

Emma turned 5 Months Old on Monday! She's getting So big! Everyday she is doing something new. She is working on adding different sounds to her motor mouth and Loves Giggling with Daddy. Almost everything he does makes her laugh. She is sitting pretty well on her own for short periods of time and is spending more and more time out in the "big kids" room at school. Miss Patty is sad that soon she'll be out there rather than with her in Pooh's Corner! But she loves watching her interact with the big kids.

Zach is busy with the All Star game this week. He has been home in the wee hours of the morning each night. Emma and I miss him - too bad he has 8 more games still to go before he'll be home again!

Motor Mouth

Listen to our little motor mouth!

Grandma Debi came down for the 4th of July! We had a great time. Emma got to go to the Bats game on Thursday and then spend the 4th with Grandma Debi and Daddy. Then on Saturday we went back down to another baseball game. On Sunday we played outside and spent time at the house!

Tomorrow is Zach's birthday and Emma and I are taking him to eat sushi!

Which one is better?

Emma has fully discovered that she can get her toes in her mouth. She constantly has her feet in her hands and gets upset when they don't do what she wants them to do. It's pretty funny. Here's a video of her and her toes!

Last Saturday we took Emma to the doctor for a runny nose and left having to have an x-ray on her head. Dr Joe was worried about the right side of her head - but we're happy to say that the x-ray shows that nothing is wrong!!! We're Very Excited!

Daddy and Emma reading Sweet Pickles books!

Emma and I are planning on going to the July 3rd Bats baseball game and walking down to the waterfront where there is a free concert going on and great fireworks. Grandma Debi is going to be here late that night too! But we're most excited that we get to spend the 4th with Daddy!!! Only one day - but we'll take it!!!

Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!
