Baseball Time!

The kids are playing 4 weeks of tee ball before we leave for San Jose.  The league is for 3, 4 and 5 year olds and it was the perfect introduction for the kids to baseball. Although, it's brutal for this sports loving mom!  These kids need a longer attention span!

Here's some pictures of our first tee ball game!

Collin and Chase ready for the ball!

Emma fielding her first ball.

Chase is a natural when it comes to sports!

Emma is getting more confident and better with each game!

They are having fun and gaining confidence with each night.  Next sport will be soccer in San Jose if Dad has his way - he's already been scouting out a little field that holds clinics for thier ages near our house!

Last Series - Our last Bats Game

For Mother's Day I took the kids to Slugger Field.  2 of my most favorite Mother's Days have now been at the ballpark!  It just might have to become a tradition.

Emma chillin before the gates open

On the slides - best friends!

Yeah - I play a little ball...
The Real reason we went to the ballpark is that IRON MAN was making a special appearance!  The kids were SO excited to see him!!!

Oh how we Love our Buddy Bat!  Emma was especially excited that both Iron Man and Buddy Bat gave her little smooches!  But her boyfriend Collin was not so happy - he told his police officer father that he was going to need to arrest Buddy for kissin his woman!

A little cotton candy...or a lot!!!

Great day at the Bats stadium and a pretty good Mother's Day!

The Last Series...Derby Time!

So for another Last...this was probably our last trip to the Derby...at least for a few years!  We had a great time with some of our Centerplate friends despite the cold and rain all day long.

Here's a quick Derby recap!
(I only took a few photos - it was just too cold and rainy!)

These two are just alike!

This is what happens when you leave your bar unattended!

Did I mention I kind-of like this guy!  I miss him!!

It was a good year for mud sliding in the infield...

This guy in the suit coat and tie took it to a new level and decided to ditch his clothes and tie...until the military came over and politely requested he put them back on!

We will miss this place - Derby is just one of the amazing events we were lucky enough to
get to go to while living in Louisville!  We will mss it!
