Instead of going straight to California - we took a detour to Kansas City and Iowa to see some family! While we were there we met up these two and their husbands. I miss these guys!!!
After a quick visit in KC, Zach jumped back on a plane and headed to California while the kids and I headed to Iowa. We spent a night seeing my sister in Des Moines and then spent a few days at my parents house.

One of the best parts about being at Papa Knute and Grandma Nesie's is that the kids get to do stuff they can't do anywhere else...this was their first time playing in a grain bin full of corn...they had a great time!
After our visit we hopped on 2 planes and finally landed at our new Home!
